well, svc was awesome today. okays, wait wait wait, before that. i went to church a bit earlier to see what can i help out in. i guess today really lack of manpower. logis was ran by mingli, thomas wasnt there. then was helping mingli running about,. after that you mei asked me to help with pinde in south. hars. i wonder what happened to the usher. by right should have more than 5 ushers. LOL! and they dun move. literally stand there and pose. !!! well, nvm. was asked to help fill seats at the 2nd row of A2. and pastor preached about the sermon called "build to last", the values of how we build things so that it can last. was a really great sermon. well, nobody starts off with sthg without the intention for it to last. true.

and all these 10 values came from Exodus 20:2-17:
Exo 20:2-3 - Loyalty
Exo 20:4-6 - Commitment
Exo 20:7 - Respect
Exo 20:8-11 - Accountability
Exo 20:12 - Family
Exo 20:13 - Love
Exo 20:14 - Faithfulness
Exo 20:15 - Hard Work
Exo 20:16 - Integrity
Exo 20:17 - Generosity

and yes, Exodus 20:2-17, they are the 10 commandments that God has given to us to obey.

and he ended off with the V.A.L.U.E.S of having values.
V - Visible (identity)
A - Attract (magnet)
L - Lead (compass)
U - Unite (glue)
E - Establish (foundation)
S - Standard (ruler)

its a wonderful msg. it touched me alot, when i realised that all the 10 values that Pst Tan had listed down are from the 10 commadments. it shows me that God is still the same, ytd, today, and forever. WOAH! its like no matter what happen, we still have to obey the law. when we are confused and in a mess, not sure of what to do, we go back to the basic, the values, the 10 commandments. (:

also, after svc, 80 talked to me and kenrus. he was talking to us about being a counter and stuffs. so we started chatting, listening to his experiences and life story. he said that serving is out of inconvenient. if you were to serve because you are free and have nthg to do, nv think that you will be bless. cos you are not giving what is precious to you. and also, he shared this, when you questioned God about where your blessings are, when are you going to reap your 100 fold of blessings, think about how many times God has spared your life, and by sparing your life, thats a million fold blessings! God is always so wonderful. AMEN! and he also shared with us the three areas that the devil will SURELY attack you in: family, work/school(including financial wise), and relationships. and once we sense that sthg is coming, we guard ourself with it, so that the devil wont surprise us with whatever he is doing, and we will not stumble and fall because of it.
really thank God for all that ive learnt today. was being tempted by the devil while i was showering, getting ready to go to church, the devil was telling me, why not just stay home and watch the svc online? i was quite convinced, cos nobody is going to accpy me, and im alone. might as well dun go. but as i made my decision to go for the svc. it really bless me tremendously. i wouldn be blogging about all these stuffs if i did not went for svc just now. THANK GOD! (:
